Coniston bridge closed for repairs

Repairs to a damaged bridge in Coniston will close Walter Street between William Avenue and Cook Street until further notice.

The city will allow access for local traffic on the east and west approaches to the bridge via William Avenue and Cook Street.

Martindale Road will also be down to one lane between Southview Drive and Charlotte Street on Aug. 12 and 13 while the section is repaved.

A southbound Barrydowne Road lane will be closed on Sunday, Aug. 15 in stages between Lasalle Boulevard and the Kingsway while repairs to Bell Canada infrastructure takes place.
