Residents of Coniston, Wahnapitae, Markstay and Sudbury, including New Sudbury, may notice a period of limited water supply and possibly temporary low water pressure on Saturday, Nov. 26 beginning at 8 a.m. until approximately Jan. 7, 2017 for scheduled maintenance of the Wanapitei Water Treatment Plant.

To compensate for limited water supply, residents and businesses are asked to reduce water consumption whenever possible.

Residents who notice discoloured water once water pressure is restored are asked to run the cold water tap closest to their water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes. In the event of prolonged discoloration or low water pressure, residents are asked to call 3-1-1.

The City of Greater Sudbury thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the scheduled maintenance to the Wanapitei Water Treatment Plant.
