Copper Cliff youth Annabelle Greenough is learning at a young age to pay it forward.

For Annabelle’s third birthday celebration, she asked for donations to the Shriners Hospitals in lieu of gifts. The Sudbury Shriners were thrilled to receive $135 from Annabelle and will be proud to make her and her mom members of the Shriners $100 Million Dollar Club.

Annabelle is a patient of the world-renowned Shriners Hospital Canada – Montreal, where she is receiving specialized orthopedic treatment from the team of medical specialists. At the new Shriners Hospital, Annabelle's mom, Jessica, stays in the same room as her daughter and is her constant companion.

Shriners are proud of their philanthropic efforts and are able to offer transportation, accommodation and the world renowned treatment at no cost to the family, said a news release.

In achieving their motto “fun with a purpose”, Shriners ensure that their Hospitals are available to all children, regardless of means.  Annabelle’s tribute in paying it forward is heartfelt and sincerely appreciated.
