Crash closes part of Barrydowne

A motor-vehicle collision has closed part of Barrydowne Road in New Sudbury this afternoon.

Greater Sudbury Police were not immediately available to provide information on the crash. However, NorthernLife.ca videographer Patrick Demers, who is on scene, said the crash appears to have involved two vehicles, and occurred at the intersection of Barrydowne and Hawthorne.

Part of Barrydowne heading towards The Kingsway is closed at this hour. Vehicles are being detoured around the crash.
