Telecommunications services, including home and mobile Internet services, have became integral parts of Canadians' lives.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) wants to know how Canadians use those services at home, so it can better regulate the industry.

Do you watch a lot of streaming video? Play online video games? Use online banking? Are you a big social media user?

The anonymous survey gathers feedback on many of those activities.

The study is being conducted by EKOS Research Associates Inc. on behalf of the CRTC.

For quality control purposes, the CRTC said the Internet protocol (IP) number of your Internet connection will be recorded with your response.

The CRTC said the survey takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can access it here.

The survey must be completed by Feb. 29, 2016.
