Volunteers are once again heading out to sell daffodils for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Thousands of daffodils are being sold throughout the city. Every purchase helps raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society's 14 clinical trials taking place in Sudbury. Research conducted by Dr. Hoyun Lee and his team are working towards developing new cancer treatments based on their study of DNA replication.

Last year, more than $29,000 was raised during daffodil days. April is Daffodil Month in the Greater City of Sudbury.

Daffodils are being sold at Algonquin Road and Lasalle LCBO locations, Real Canadian Superstore and select Your Independent Grocer locations and the New Sudbury Centre until Saturday, March 27.
