Items at the New Sudbury Centre's Danier Leather store are up to 75-per-cent off today as the company goes into liquidation.
The company, which sells leather clothing and accessories, entered insolvency proceedings in February after losing almost $20 million in 2015.
Danier Leather's sales fell 14 per cent in 2015, and 10 per cent in 2014.
An employee at the Sudbury store said newer items are 25 per cent off, and older items are up to 75 per cent off as of Tuesday.
The sales are expected to increase as the liquidation continues, and the store could remain open as long as three months, but could close sooner if all the inventory is sold before then.
The company's website counts 90 Danier stores across Canada.
Around 1,293 people are expected to lose their jobs through the store closures.
