Lively's Daryl Brunt survived another week on Canadian Idol.

Brunt, 16, was on of the top vote-getters on the popular music reality show, and managed not to be voted off Wednesday night.
Brunt and eight other competitors sang Stevie Wonder songs on Tuesday night.

Despite a mixed reaction from the Canadian Idol judges, the television audience voted and B.C. native Ashley Leitao was ousted from the show.
Brunt is now in the final eight.
Brunt will appear again on the show next Tuesday, as competitors sing songs from the 1980s.
