Desjardins Voyageurs Credit Union gave away 17 bicycles to some lucky young members of the School Caisse program at their annual bicycle giveaway.

A draw was held in the 17 schools that participate in the School Caisse program.

“The bicycle draw in each of the schools encourages children to become involved in the program and motivates them to make regular deposits,” said Jean-Marc Spencer, executive director of Desjardins Voyageurs Credit Union, in a press release. “We would like to thank all of the employees from the credit union and the schools that helped with the operation of the School Caisse. Without them, the program wouldn't exist.”

More than 600 students participated in the 2015-2016 School Caisse program from schools in Sudbury, Oshawa and Midland.
