Hold onto your receipts from downtown businesses to be eligible for a free gift from the Downtown Sudbury Business Improvement Area.
On the first three Saturdays in December (3rd, 10th & 17th), the team from Downtown Sudbury will be at 125 Durham St. to hand out "thank you" gifts to downtown supporters.
Each week the gift is a different Christmas-themed plant to help decorate your home for the holiday season.
Customers with an accumulated $75 (before tax) in receipts dated between Nov. 19 and Dec. 17 are eligible for the gift.
Receipts are stamped and returned to their owners.
Due to the high demand in previous years, the Downtown BIA would like to remind that customers are only eligible for one gift each per week.
Last year, the BIA handed out more than 600 gifts to downtown supporters over the course of December.
Supporters of this program are reminded that only one gift per customer each week is given. If your receipts come to more than $75, you can hold onto un-stamped receipts for the next Saturday’s gift.
So enjoy a meal, do some Christmas shopping or pamper yourself in the city’s centre and keep those receipts.
