Greater Sudbury Police is asking the public's help to find a dog taken from the PetSave animal shelter in Lively sometime late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.

“The suspect, once inside the building, gained access to a dog pen and took one of the dogs,” said a release from police Wednesday.

The dog is a one-year old male Brindle-Mastiff mix that responds to the name 'Mickey.' He is about 100 pounds and was wearing a black 'Kong' collar with no name tags when he was taken from the shelter, the release said.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Mickey is asked to call police immediately at 705-675-9171.”
