The École St-Étienne school community organized a spaghetti lunch on May 25 to raise funds for the Red Cross in an effort to assist residents from the Fort McMurray community.
Though the great generosity of the community, the school was able to present a donation of $782.97 to the Red Cross to assist families from this Alberta community as they seek to rebuild following the forest fire.
The school said in a press release it wishes to thank families, staff and all of the volunteers involved in this successful fundraising activity.
