Chisholm, a firefighter from Thunder Bay, lost his father to suicide. Now, he is also the founder of the Collateral Damage Project, a photography project in which he photographs the family members of people who have died of suicide.

His aim: To promote discussions around suicide prevention and the impact of suicide.

The topic for the free event, which starts at 7 p.m., is “changing the colour of suicide — looking differently at grieving.”

The North East Suicide Prevention Network works to increase suicide awareness and prevention in the community.
