Although there were no injuries, one person had to be evacuated after a fire at a two-unit building on Notre Dame Avenue early Saturday morning.
Greater Sudbury Fire Services was called out to the fire at 7:55 a.m. Oct. 27.
The fire was located in the porch and basement area, and the cause is believed to be an electrical malfunction.
The fire department says smoke and fire damage is moderate, and estimated at $100,000.
One person was displaced as a result of the fire.
