Wolves celebrate 45 years
The Sudbury Wolves will celebrate their 45th anniversary this month. To kick it off the celebration Sudbury Wolves alumni will face off against Montreal Canadiens alumni in a charity game on Thursday, Dec. 8.
Syrian family arrival
The City of Greater Sudbury welcomes its fifth Syrian family this week. The St. Peter’s United Church Sponsorship Committee and Lifeline Sudbury are have teamed up to sponsor Alyousef family. The family will arrive at the Sudbury Airport Wednesday morning.
Glencore back in court Friday
Glencore returns to court Friday as the mining company faces allegations from the Ministry of Labourt that it obstructed their investigation after the death of underground miner Richard Pigeau in 2015.
12 Days of Kindness
Sudbury.com’s Acts of Kindness video series kicks into high gear on Thursday when we begin the rollout of our 12 Days of Kindness campaign. Starting Dec. 8, we will be unveiling a new video every weekday in which we surprise someone in the community with an Act of Kindness. Check back Thursday to see the first one.
