There's a bit of good news on the gasoline front to start your week.

After spiking to more than 112 a litre on Friday, over the weekend, prices fell back down, and this morning are sitting at a more comfortable (but still high) 107 a litre average.

You'll find your best bargain today at the Independent at the Pumps station on Lorne Street, where the price is 106.9 a litre, reports OntarioGasPrices.com.

Still, even though that is a bargain, most other stations are selling fuel from between 107.2 a litre to 108.9.  The high price this morning is at the Shell station on The Kingsway near Barrydowne, where fuel is going for 111.9 a litre.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 102, with the national average at 103.1 a litre.
