The tournament raises funds to support Health Sciences North’s North East Ontario Health Centre for Kids, or NEO Kids.

NEO Kids provides more than 20 specialized pediatric outpatient clinics and services, and sees over 35,000 patient visits a year.

“The Palladino Auto Group is extremely excited and honoured to be the title sponsor of the Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic,” said Vince Palladino, president of the Palladino Auto Group.

It's all about ensuring local children have access to the best health care available, Palladino also said.

Dr. Sean Murray, the medical director of NEO Kids, said supporting the pediatrics program means more children can be treated closer to home.

“You hear a lot of talk about Sudbury’s aging and shrinking population, but the population of children is actually growing and more of those kids have complex health needs that we can and should treat here, instead of sending them to places like Ottawa and Toronto,” said Dr. Sean Murray, a pediatrician in Greater Sudbury and medical director of NEO Kids.

The Palladino Auto Group Mulligans for NEO Kids Golf Classic is a fundraising event of Health Sciences North Foundation.
