A new record for the coldest temperature for Dec. 27 was set in Greater Sudbury on Wednesday, when the temperature went down to -32.7 C. The previous record for the lowest temperature on Dec. 27 was -31.2 C in 1993.

While it's still downright chilly out there today, it's not quite as bad as earlier this week.
