Greater Sudbury Transit will launch two new options for riders beginning June 1. Announced in February of this year, day and family passes will soon be available for purchase at the Greater Sudbury Transit Kiosk on Elm Street.

Day passes are bus passes that provide a single rider unlimited travel for one day from the start of the first transit service to the end of the service day.

These passes cost $9 and become available for purchase June 1. Once purchased, the day pass will be activated in the fare box on the bus upon first use.

Family passes are bus passes that provide unlimited travel for a maximum of five riders for one day from the start of the first transit service to the end of the service day.

Group must consist of a minimum of one adult and not more than four youth (17 years of age or under) or a maximum of 2 adults and not more than three youth (17 years of age or under) or two adults.

These passes will cost $15 and become available for purchase June 1. Once purchased, the family pass will be activated in the fare box on the bus upon first use.

Currently, day passes and family passes will be sold at the Greater Sudbury Transit terminal kiosk on Elm Street.  The vendor list will be updated online as new locations become available.
