GSU notice: Planned power outage Sunday

Greater Sudbury Hydro customers in Capreol should expect an eight-hour power outage Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A planned power outage is required to allow replacement of a 44 KV switch controlling power to your area.

Greater Sudbury Hydro customers in Capreol should expect an eight-hour power outage Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A planned power outage is required to allow replacement of a 44 KV switch controlling power to your area. Hydro One will be doing maintenance work at that time as well.

The outage will affect about 1,729 customers, who have been notified via Canada Post, GSU said in a media release.
