Have a say on how city parks are run

Public meetings across Greater Sudbury are being held all month so residents can give their opinions on how city parks should be run.
Public meetings across Greater Sudbury are being held all month so residents can give their opinions on how city parks should be run.

The input will be used to help develop a bylaw to guide the use of public parks and ensure safe, enjoyable parkland for everyone in the city.

Meetings will be held from 4-7 p.m. in the following areas on the following days: May 16 at the Chelmsford Community Centre; May 17 at the Dr. Edgar Leclair Community Centre in Azilda; May 23 at the T.M. Davies Community Centre in Walden; May 24 at the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre in Hanmer; May 30 at the Garson Community Centre; and, May 31 at Tom Davies Square in Sudbury.

Anyone unable to attend but who still wants to give their opinions should visit www.greatersudbury.ca/parks.
