Help Club Richelieu collect items for young mothers, babies

In time for Mother’s Day, Clubs Richelieu of the Mid-North are working with local agencies to help young mothers and their babies.
 
The club’s Playpen/Crib Campaign installs playpens or cribs in businesses in the Greater Sudbury area, in North Bay, in Blind River and in the municipality of French River until May 7 to collect the products.
 
The items collected will be distributed through Better Beginnings, Better Futures, namely the Baby’s Breath program, in Sudbury; the Ontario Early Years Centre of Nipissing in North Bay, Sudbury-Est Community Health Centre and the Alban Nurse Practitioner-led Clinic in French River. 
 
In Blind River, the products will be distributed in the community as the need is identified.
 
Participating clubs include the Club Richelieu Sudbury, the Club Richelieu Féminin de Sudbury, the Club Richelieu de la Vallée, the Club Richelieu Blind River, the Club Richelieu North Bay and the Club Richelieu Rivière-des-Français, representing more than 180 Richelieu members.
