Eastbound traffic on the Kingsway slowed to a crawl Tuesday afternoon after an accident involving a transport and a concrete hydro pole. The transport had just finished dropping off a load of tires at a business across from HarveyÂ?s when the rig caught some cables and almost yanked the pole off its base. Police and firefighters were called to the scene along with Sudbury Hydro. No injuries were reported.
