The Adanac Ski Hill is opening for the season on Dec. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The season is opening with two of seven runs open, with operating hours dependent on weather conditions and able to change without notice.
Crews’ ability to make snow requires consistent temperatures of -10 C or below for a minimum of 24 hours with a relative humidity of 20 to 30 per cent.
Strong north winds can delay snowmaking to prevent snow from drifting into the immediate area.
Fees and up-to-date hill conditions are available online at greatersudbury.ca/play/ski-hills.
