If you are homeless, it's time to get spruced up, for free.

Once again this year, Lorraine's Hair Styles at 66 Elm St. will be giving the homeless a free haircut or styling Monday from 9 am to 5 pm, said organizer Bill Moore.

“We also have been collecting clothes, including jackets because the weather is turning nasty this time of year,” said Moore.

In addition, Moore has been getting donations from downtown businesses including coupons from the City Centre's A& W and Mr. Sub as well as from the downtown Tim Horton's.

“We're trying to cheer up those who are homeless with a quick make-over and some warm fluids and food inside them so they can enjoy the festive season too and feel better about themselves,” said Monroe.

Service is first come first served, he said. For more information, phone 671-3359.
