Hospital donor walls coming down

The Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation is removing the Laurentian site donor walls as a necessary part of construction, said a news release. The current main lobby of the Laurentian site will begin to be renovated early this fall.

The donor walls at the Memorial site will also be dismantled.

Donors will continue to be honoured in a new donor wall system.

Donor walls are a tribute to the people that have helped build and expand the northeastern Ontario health care system.

The Foundation is giving past donors and family members the opportunity to receive their current plaques as a keepsake.
