Join local paramedics and firefighters for family friendly fun at Ecole Alliance in Chelmsford on Saturday afternoon.

They're calling the event Hot Summer Nights, but it takes place starting at 4 p.m. on July 16 in the schoolyard at Ecole Alliance St. Joseph.

Firefighters will be sending a cooling mist over the crowd to stave off the summer heat, while families play games, check out the city’s emergency equipment, interact with emergency response personnel and get their pictures taken with mascots Sparky and Nick.

The city told Sudbury.com the event will run for a few hours.
