It's better than nothing: Gas down a cent to 108.6

Gas prices in Greater Sudbury have dropped about a cent over the past day after a spike earlier this week.

Most gas stations in town are currently charging about 108.6, according to GasBuddy.com. The cheapest gas in town is 105.3, at Global in Chelmsford, and the city's most expensive gas is 110.2 at Petro Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 97.6 to 97.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 101.8, while the province's cheapest gas, at 86.6, is in Simcoe.
