Fall produce is starting to roll in. Stock up with a visit to The Market this weekend.

Stop by The Market this weekend for two staples of fall produce: apples and squash.

With a variety of types available, both are delicious to include in pies, compotes and sauces.

Speaking of sauces, this weekend is the perfect time to stock up on the fresh local tomato sauces on offer.

Summer corn will still be available this weekend, which can be frozen right on the cob to keep the sweet taste of summer available all winter long.

Even better, The Market is teaming up with the Sudbury Jazz festival this weekend. Jacob Starling will be providing live music from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. downtown. It’s open rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.
