The John Howard Society of Sudbury is getting $27,000 to help with infrastructure repairs and renovations, said Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci.

The project, being supported through the Partner Facility Renewal program, will involve the repainting of bricks on all exterior walls, as well as the replacement of outdated security panels for each entry point.

“This investment will allow the John Howard Society to maintain their facility and ensure programs are delivered effectively,” said Bartolucci. “This also means a better experience for those who use this facility, as well as job creation in our community.”

Helping non-profit agencies upgrade and maintain their infrastructure is part of the government’s plan to create jobs, and build a fair and prosperous society.

“Ontario is making it possible for some of our most vulnerable to have access to better facilities,” concluded Bartolucci. “These types of investments benefit communities by contributing to economic growth and supporting job opportunities.”
