Lifeguard supervision at public beaches ends Sunday

Lifeguard supervision at municipal beaches will end effective Sunday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m., says the city.

There will be no lifeguard supervision at Bell Park Main Beach, Capreol Public Beach, Kalmo Beach in Valley East, Moonlight Beach, Nepahwin Park Beach, Meatbird Park in Lively and Whitewater Lake Park in Azilda.

Any use of these beach areas is at the participants' own risk. Reaching poles and ring buoys will remain attached to all lifeguard chairs.
