Lively Ski Hill opens at 6 p.m. today

The Lively Ski Hill’s season opens today.

The municipal ski hill, at 501 Eastern Ave. in Lively, will be open from 6-9:30 p.m. today.

Its current conditions, as of 9:25 a.m., were, “machine groomed, snow packed.”

Regular hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, from 6-9:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4:30 p.m. 

It’s all weather-dependent, with fees and up-to-date hill conditions available at greatersudbury.ca/play/ski-hills

The city-owned and operated Adanac Ski Hill in Sudbury opened on Dec. 26, the Queen’s Athletic Skating Oval opened on Jan. 16, and the Ramsey Lake Skating Path is slated to open on Feb. 17. Its extension to Science North will not be available this season due to ice conditions in the area.
