There are still plenty of chances to find out about local federal election candidates in the Sudbury and Nickel Belt ridings before ballots are cast on Jan. 23.

On Jan. 12, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is holding an all candidates meeting for Nickel Belt at the Howard Armstrong Community Centre in Val Caron from 7 to 10 pm.

The chamber held their Sudbury meeting earlier this week.

Sudbury voters can also see their candidates up close and personal Jan. 17 at a debate on seniors' issues at the Older Adult Centre on Durham St. starting at 7 pm.

Also on Jan. 17, the Social Planning Council and the Sudbury & District Labour Council are co-hosting an all candidates event in Nickel Belt at the Lionel E. Lalonde Trillium Centre in Azilda from 7 to 9 pm.

On Jan. 19, the two councils are holding a similar event in Sudbury at the Cambrian Foundation from 7 to 9 pm.
