Local dance group gives to foodbank

Project Dance along with the Project Dance Competitive Group made a $1200.00 donation to the Garson Foodbank.

The dance team raised the funds during their competitions this spring, while hosting family BBQ’s and collecting donations for the foodbank.

“The Project Dance families have come together in the spirit of team and have helped raise this money for the foodbank and also had fun while doing it,” saidPam Borton President of the Project Dance Competitive Group.

The Project Dance Competitive Group is a registered not for profit corporation with the government of Ontario.

The members raise money to allow our dance team the opportunity to travel and compete throughout the province as well as nationally, and represent our community of Greater Sudbury.

Project Dance also gives back to the community, in the form of local performances, dance scholarships and donations to local charitable organizations.
