Gas prices have dropped about a cent in Greater Sudbury after a large spike earlier this week.

Most gas stations in the city are now charging 107.6, according to GasBuddy.com.

The cheapest gas in the city is 102.6 at Shell in Capreol, although that price was reported nearly a day ago, and may have changed. The most expensive gas in the city is 108.9 at Esso in Capreol. That price is also almost a day old, though.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 101.7 to 103.4, up significantly from earlier this week.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 101.8. The cheapest gas in the province is 86.9 in Exeter and in Muncey. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 120.9 in Sioux Lookout.
