Sudbury residents are encouraged to attend a special blood donor clinic in honour of Marianne Centis the week of Nov. 7 to 11.

Last year, Marianne was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. She relies on blood and platelet transfusions as part of her treatment.

Members of Marianne’s family have organized a blood donor clinic in support of Marianne, and are also giving themselves to support Marianne and others who need blood and blood products.

The Centis family will be donating blood on Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Sudbury blood donor clinic, 944 Barrydowne Rd.

You can book an appointment by downloading the GiveBlood App or by visiting blood.ca.
