Originally scheduled for last month, event was postponed due to weather

Attorney Dean Strang, who appeared on the hit Netflix series "Making a Murderer," will speak at Laurentian University on May 18.
 
He was originally supposed to speak in Sudbury on March 24, but the event was postponed due to inclement weather.
 
Strang will be discussing “the systemic failures of the American criminal justice system, as well as the broader implications of the Steven Avery case,” a poster promoting the event said.
 
 
Previously issued tickets — which were free of charge — will be honoured. If you have lost or misplaced your ticket you can email [email protected] to get a replacement.
