Gas prices in Greater Sudbury jumped eight cents per litre from 110.9 to 118.9 at most stations yesterday, according to GasBuddy.com.

That's up 15 to 20 cents per litre over just a few weeks ago, when some stations in the city were charging under a dollar per litre.

The cheapest gas in the city is 107.9 at Esso in Chelmsford, which is still charging 107.9 this morning. The most expensive gas in the city is 119.3 at Petro-Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas is still 105.9, so if you're heading that way on March Break travels, you might want to stop in to fill up.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 108.6. The cheapest gas in the province is 89.1 in Moraviantown First Nation. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 130.9 in Sioux Lookout and Atikokan.
