The Minnow Lake Community Action Network will hold a special meet the councillor (Janet Gasparini) meeting on Monday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the gym at Minnow Lake Place.
At the meeting, residents will find out "what's happening in Minnow Lake," according to a press release by John Lindsay, chair of the action network.
Almost 80 people turned out at a meeting on Sept. 22, but Coun. Gasparini could not attend, so this is a "make up" meeting, according to Lindsay. One of the topics to be discussed is the development of a dog park on Second Avenue in Minnow Lake, perhaps in conjunction with a "sand mountain" kids play area.
The ideas have been submitted to the city for budget consideration, according to Lindsay.
