NEOMO Medical is holding an open house Nov. 22, from 4 - 8 p.m.

Awarded the 2017 Family Practice of the Year, NEOMO (Northeast Ontario Medical Offices) recently purchased the All Nations Church on Prete Street and have turned it into a medical office that houses seven physicians, and supportive staff.

Two more physicians will be joining the staff in 2019, bringing their total to nine by the end of next year.

Not only does NEOMO medical offer family medicine, but each one of their physicians brings a specialty to the clinic.

They offer women's health clinics, allergy clinics, cortisone clinics, minor procedures, diabetic classes, and much more. There is also on onsite pharmacy, with a pharmacist that works hand in hand with the office's physicians to provide patient care.

"Our staff are completely up front family physicians first and from there they specialize in their clinics on the side, but ultimately they are a family practice," said Natasha Locking, communications manager, NEOMO.

"Each patient has their own physician but they work as a team, so essentially we're never closed. If your physician is away, there will still be a doctor to see you."

NEOMO is taking new patients and if you need a family physician you can visit them at their Prete Street location.

"We'll ask a series of questions and then we have a list of each doctor's new patient intake day and we'll call and book you for a new patient intake day," said Locking.

If you're looking for a family physician, you can check out what NEOMO has to offer at their open house on Nov. 22 between 4 and 8 p.m.
