What a Halloween!
This morning the much-anticipated Superheroes for Little Heroes event saw members of the GSPS Tactical Unit exchange their uniforms for superhero suits to rappel down the side of Health Sciences North and bring a little Halloween fun to the patients on the pediatric unit and NICU.
Besides being a fun way to deliver the Halloween spirit, the event also raised $52,000 for the NEO Kids Foundation. Not only could members of the public sponsor lengths of rope for the event, but Greater Sudbury Utilities pledged to donate $10 for every account that registers for paperless billing from now until April 17, 2017.
