The city of Greater Sudbury will officially open new accessible change room and washroom facilities at Bell Park on Thursday.
Citizens are invited to join Greater Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger and the Greater Sudbury Accessibility Advisory Panel at 1 p.m. at the Bell Park main beach for the official opening of the facilities.
There will also be a demonstration of Mobi-chair, a new floating wheelchair that can be reserved by citizens free of charge at the Bell Park Main Beach.
The launch will take place rain or shine. If the weather is fair, the launch will take place at the main beach, with parking on Elizabeth Street.
Rain venue is the William Bell Gazebo at the Main Beach.
