Remains, a new play from the Zaagi’idiwin Collective of Sudbury is hosted by Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre, will run from April 27 to 29 at Place des arts in downtown Sudbury.

It stars Brett Recollet, Bill Sanders and Lisa-Marie Naponse, with original music created and performed by Leland Bell, Lois Apaquash and Lisa-Marie Naponse.

Hosted by Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre, the play is a continuation of Project Uncle, inspired by Angela Recollet’s uncle, Mutty. Recollet is the e-niigaanzid (CEO) of Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre.

“Remains” is the story of two brothers who embark on a healing journey through memory, music, loss and love.

“We honour Uncle Mutty and all of the men doing their best to heal for themselves, their families and their communities,” reads a release from the health centre.

Curtains rise at 7 p.m. and tickets are pay-what-you-can-afford. You can find information about the play and purchase tickets here
