Joey Niceforo performed at the Sudbury Blood Donor Clinic to launch the Canadian Blood Services Brighten a life campaign across Northern Ontario.

The campaign is aimed at getting more people to donate blood this holiday season by encouraging donors to bring a friend.

From Dec. 3 to Jan. 4 current donors can fill out cards and give them to someone who has never donated before, encouraging them to make a donation over the holidays.

Blood supply is usually scarce during the holidays, due to added time constraints on people's lives, said a news release.
