Greater Sudbury Northern Life
Ontario Library Service-North is looking for nominations for the 2009 Northern "Lit" Award. The submission deadline for nominations in Nov. 24.
This marks the fourth year the Northern "Lit" Award will be presented by OLS-North and Northern Ontario Public Libraries. Last year's winner was The Line Painter by Claire Cameron.
The award is presented for works of adult fiction by authors who have spent a significant amount of time in Northern Ontario. Nominated titles must be a work of adult fiction, have been published in the last two years and not been previously shortlisted for the award.
Publishers and authors interested in submitting titles are asked to forward eight copies of each nominated title to Karen Thistle, OLS-North, 334 Regent St., Sudbury, ON, P3C 4E2.
