Collège Notre-Dame students raised more than $22,000 for the Northern Cancer Foundation last week by canvassing door-to-door.
This marked the school’s 27th annual cancer drive. Over the years, they've raised a total of $746,000.
“Collège Notre-Dame is definitely a special school to us,” said Tannys Laughren, executive director of the Northern Cancer Foundation, in a press release.
“Their cancer drive is the longest-running campaign we have and the students are so excited year after year to fundraise for us. The cancer researchers at the Health Sciences North Research Institute (HSNRI) are amazing and we know that they’ll put this money to work.”
