Theatre Cambrian has received a $12,700 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to assist with the purchase of theatrical lighting equipment for their ever-popular dinner-theatre series.

Theatre Cambrian has received a $12,700 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to assist with the purchase of theatrical lighting equipment for their ever-popular dinner-theatre series.

“Theatre Cambrian is extremely delighted with this news,” said executive director Mark Mannisto in a news release. "The funds will be used to purchase proper lighting, so we may offer dinner-theatre productions on an ongoing basis. We also have the luxury of opening the doors of our new home to meet the needs of other groups and individuals who need a space for small, intimate gatherings rendering Theatre Cambrian facilities more accessible to the community.”

The Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Culture, receives funds from the Ontario government’s charity casino initiative.  The Foundation allocates grants to eligible chartitable and not-for-profit organizations in the arts and culture, environment, human and social services and sports and recreation sectors.
