Franco Mariotti, a Science North biologist, was part of the first crew to go to the African tropical forest of Gombe National Park to scout locations for the Imax film, Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees .
Franco Mariotti, a Science North biologist, was part of the first crew to go to the African tropical forest of Gombe National Park to scout locations for the Imax film, Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees. Mariotti will give a slide show of his African experiences today (Wednesday) at the Science North Cavern at 7:30 pm. The lecture is free to Science North members and $10 for non members. Mariotti and Alan Nursall, science director, are both involved with the development of the film.
