Playground hockey league's tournament benefits food bank

The Sudbury Playground Hockey League Greater Sudbury Police Cup Tournament, which takes place Jan. 16-18 at Countryside and Cambrian Arenas, is about more than just hockey.

The Sudbury Playground Hockey League Greater Sudbury Police Cup Tournament, which takes place Jan. 16-18 at Countryside and Cambrian Arenas, is about more than just hockey.

The hockey league is also using the opportunity to encourage participants to donate non-perishable food items to the Sudbury Food Bank.

The top three contributing teams will win a pizza party at the RHP Training Centre.
