A weapons complaint led police to a scene in which they seized 50 grams of fentanyl, more than 23 grams of cocaine, a loaded handgun, two prohibited devices and more than $400 in cash.
The search warrant was executed on Dec. 21, and police were alerted to the three suspects on Sept. 16.
Just before 1 a.m. that morning, police received a weapons complaint call in which three men were seen entering a Bruce Avenue residence in what was believed to be a home invasion.
One of the men was reportedly seen armed with a handgun.
The men left the residence a few minutes later, allegedly with items stolen from the residence in hand, prior to police arrival.
No one was reported injured throughout the incident, and it is considered by police to be a “targeted attack.”
Police identified three suspects during their investigation.
A 42-year-old suspect was arrested on Nov. 28.
Police located another suspect, a 29-year-old man, on Larch Street without incident at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 21.
Shortly after his arrest, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Melvin Avenue in which they seized drugs with an estimated street value of $16,000, cash and a loaded handgun.
A third suspect, Andre Martel, remains at large with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He has been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Pointing a firearm
- Robbery with weapon
Martel is described as a white male, 5’9” tall, 180 lbs, with hands that are heavily covered in tattoos.

The 29-year-old suspect appeared in bail court on Dec. 22, remanded into custody and slated to appear in court on Dec. 28. He has been charged with:
- Robbery with a restricted firearm
- Pointing a firearm
- Disguise with intent
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking x2
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm x3
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition
- Failure to comply with a probation order
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
The 42-year-old suspect appeared in bail court on Dec. 14, remanded into custody and slated to appear in court on Jan. 25. He has been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Pointing a firearm
- Robbery with weapon
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
